Icarus Interstellar Incorporated Bylaws and Member Expectations

Preface:
It would be nice if we didn’t have to have rules or expectations, but that just isn’t realistic. A successful organization needs to have a standard of member expectations in order to run smoothly and allow each and every member to have fun in a friendly atmosphere. Icarus Interstellar Incorporated uses a “common sense” approach of what to expect in order to have a welcoming and successful organization. The following is a basic list of member expectations, but common sense should be used at all times.

Conduct of Behavior Guidelines

Members of Icarus Interstellar Incorporated will be expected to follow these guidelines that have been created to ensure we have a successful organization and a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all members. Note that this is not a specific list expected to cover everything. Members are expected to just use common sense.

General Guidelines:

  1. Members should never engage in actions that are against the Terms of Service put forth by CIG that would result in warnings, suspensions, or bans from Star Citizen. In addition, members should never engage in activities that could negatively affect the reputation of this organization. Any in-game illegal activities should always be within the ToS and allowed game mechanics.
    ———-
  2. Members are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow members and those from other organizations. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects our organization’s principles. Harassment of any type (verbal, text, griefing, etc.) will not be tolerated. However, actions such as piracy are not considered griefing if part of normal gameplay.
    ———-
  3. Members are expected to share in our organization’s friendly environment by fostering a comfortable atmosphere for all members. Drama of any kind will not be tolerated. Obscene language used in a continual/casual manner is not acceptable (examples: trash talking and F#$% this and that). Members are expected to follow the guidance of Leaders and Officers.

Roleplay Specific Guidelines:

  1. Roleplay is never required, but those members that do not roleplay should be considerate of those that do. Dedicated roleplay has separate playtimes than our normal play. Since there may be members with different levels of roleplay preference and experience, all members that roleplay should be respectful and be patient.
    ———-
  2. During any roleplay, lore-appropriate behavior, prejudices, and conflicts, as well as illegal gameplay, will be acceptable. Mature topics are only acceptable within the confines of roleplay. However, as an organization, we do not participate in ERP (Erotic Roleplay). This does not exclude roleplaying our characters to suggest what might be happening.
